Monthly Member Story Swap
Join the next "Monthly Member Story Swap" to share your story and comment on someone else's... It's easy and fun! No judgment allowed! Only constructive criticism!
The questions for the month are... Fifty percent of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. Were you struggling financially before the coronavirus? Did you already live paycheck to paycheck? Did you have more than $400 in savings for this crisis? Write a few paragraphs about your experience and send it to ccdavis1016@gmail.com. A rough draft is fine. It's not worth stressing over. Just put your thoughts "on paper."
"Monthly Member Story Swap"
Instructions

On the 1st of every month, we will start a new "Member Story Swap." To begin the story, I will post a question or statement to start the discussion. Your first draft will be due by the 10th of the month and I will read them and swap them out with other members. This time, the member will read the first members' story, then comment, also using the statement that started the process. (See example below.) On the 20th, all papers are due. I will read and make my comments and post them by the 30th of the same month.

Member Story Swap Question for April 2021
Have you ever been homeless, or been concerned that you would become homeless?
​
If you want to join the swap for April, you have to accept the question by April 5th.
​
Your reply should be at least five complete sentences long and can be up to five paragraphs. They are due by April 10th.
​
I read the replies and swap them with the other members. The member receives their fellow members' story, reads it and adds their comment. These are due by April 20th. I read them, make my own comments, and post them for others to read by the 30th.
​
We start a new question on the first of the next month, and continue the question from April with the people who want to continue. So, we may have two or more questions going at one time. You can join one or all of them. The reward is in sharing your story with people who can relate in some way.
